SD83 provides 35 daily bus routes serving students throughout Celista, Scotch Creek, Sorrento, Tappen, Salmon Arm, Ranchero, Sicamous, Grindrod, Enderby, Armstrong, and Falkland. Each school day, approximately 2,800 students ride the bus, while our fleet of 50 buses, including three wheelchair-accessible buses, travels a combined 6,600 kilometres to safely transport students to and from school.
To be eligible for consideration of regular bus transportation to and from school, the student must:
- Attend their catchment area school;
- Live more than 3.5 km from their catchment area school;
- Must be registered in SD83 schools or programs.
